Between exploring the science behind contemporary & traditional artistic practices, and diving into unique creative methodologies from various cultures across the globe, Magnify’s Arts Corner is a space to celebrate and spotlight the intertwining of art, science and cultural heritage, particularly through the lens of women and gender-diverse people of colour. Through our explorations of the less spotlighted corners of the art world, we establish that community, cultural knowledge and intrinsic scientific processes form the basis of much of the art that we create, engage with and find inspiration in. There is no limit to what art can be defined as, and it’s the blurring of frontiers between different disciplines that elicits the most creativity and innovation!
